Somatics

As a Certified Somatics Practitioner, Liz enables and empowers women to live in coherence, alignment, and harmony with themselves. Her approach is trauma-informed, social justice-informed, disability justice-informed, consent-based, and client-led; it’s not directive or prescriptive. She’s simply a guide, offering tools, techniques, reflections, and a container as women rewild. She recognizes, trusts, and honors women’s innate capacity to alchemize experiences and to heal. She meets each woman where she is on any given day.

About Liz

Liz found resonance with psychology at 16 when she took a developmental psych class. At Yale, she continued exploring the field, focusing on Emotional Intelligence. Ultimately, she walked away from psychology and into organizational work because she found the techniques presented to her at that time too top down and non-inclusive of trauma and its effect on individuals. Around 2016, she found body-based healing modalities–restorative yoga, somatics, cranial sacral, mindfulness, etc. (these techniques are now being mainstreamed into the traditional therapeutic world) She’s continued to amass training and experience in this vein since, alchemizing her own life experiences as well as serving as a guide to other women doing the same.

Women have access to all of Liz’s life experience and training:
